I am recruiting for a Nursery Deputy Manager to join a lovely Nursery located in Great Barr. This is a permanent role, full time role (37.5 hours per week)
The Nursery work in small teams to motivate and enthuse our children. This allows them to understand each individual child's needs and provide outstanding childcare. They also invest in the nursery environment and our units are highly resourced, creating a nurturing, engaging and interactive environment for children both inside and outside the nursery.
Supporting the development and growth of the team is very important to them and will work with each member of staff on their individual training plan to achieve nationally accredited qualifications and provide on-going and relevant professional development opportunities. They believe in giving people the opportunity to progress and always highly value proactive involvement with every aspect of our nursery provision.
Working as a Nursery Deputy Manager, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children, ensuring that you create a safe and enriching home-from-home environment filled with opportunities to learn, enabling the children to be happy, sociable, confident, independent, creative, and unique.
Nursery Manager - Qualifications & Experience
* A Childcare and Education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
* A current First Aid qualification
* A sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to five years
* Experience in a supervisory role in the delivery of services to young children
Nursery Manager - Key Responsibilities
* Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
* Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies, and other agencies.
* Manage the occupancy to ensure it shows growth and meets the business aims.
* Maintain accurate accounts for the nursery and produce management information in accordance with company procedures.
* Manage, monitor, and control budgets and maintain petty cash systems.
* Identify training needs, develop a training plan and evaluate training undertaken by staff
I have been working this nursery very closely and the feedback from staff, is always extremely positive, with comment regarding how friendly and well run the setting is. This Good Ofsted rated Nursery, part of a larger groups nurseries.
