Maths Teacher - Specialist Provision for Young Women (SEMH / SEND)Role: SEND Maths Teacher
Key Stage: KS3 / KS4
Start Date: March 2026
Location: Bedfordshire
Are you a resilient and compassionate Maths teacher looking for a deeply rewarding role? Do you have the confidence and adaptability to support young women who have experienced significant trauma and adversity?
If you're committed to helping every learner access Maths in a meaningful, engaging way, we'd like to hear from you.
Aspire People is working in partnership with a highly specialised provision in Bedfordshire, dedicated to supporting young women who are currently unable to attend mainstream education. These students have experienced various forms of disruption in their early lives, which often present as strong behavioural challenges and a mistrust of authority figures.
Class sizes are small (maximum of 10 students) and individual ability levels vary depending on personal circumstances. The successful Maths Teacher will bring creativity, structure and patience into the classroom, delivering Maths in a way that builds confidence, resilience and real-life problem-solving skills, while maintaining a calm and consistent approach to behaviour management.
