Role and Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, fostering a love for the subject.
Create engaging lesson plans and activities that challenge students while making Maths accessible.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback that supports their development.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, resilience, and critical thinking.
Work collaboratively with other department members to ensure continuity and progression in the Maths curriculum.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as Maths clubs or competitions, to further students' interest in the subject.
Ideal Candidate:
A qualified Maths teacher with a relevant degree (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Passionate about Maths and inspiring students to achieve their best.
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
