We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for mathematics and a commitment to supporting students in their learning journey. This role offers flexibility, with options available for both part-time and full-time positions.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage mathematics classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
Deliver pre-planned maths lessons effectively, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
Support students with their mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills as needed.
Maintain a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
Collaborate with teaching staff to provide continuity in students' learning experiences.
Requirements:
Previous experience working within a UK secondary school setting is essential.
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required, with a strong preference for candidates with a mathematics-related degree or equivalent.
Demonstrated expertise in mathematics and a passion for teaching and learning.
Possession of a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate on the update service is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Flexible and adaptable approach to working in different classroom environments.
