Job Title: Full-Time English and Maths TutorLocation: Sileby, Leicestershire
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English and Maths Tutor to join our team in the picturesque village of Sileby, Leicestershire. This full-time role involves working closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their academic goals in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English and Maths tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their potential.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders about student progress and any concerns.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Applications without QTS will not be considered.
Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the educational outcomes for SEN students.
Pay Rate:
Competitive, dependent on experience.
