Job description
Qualified SEN Teaching Assistants Needed:A SEN school in Kidderminster are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join their community. General and special educational needs roles are available, and the school are looking for people who can work on a full-time OR part time basis.
The schools want highly skilled, well qualified and experienced staff, who ideally have strong backgrounds in supporting special educational needs as well. They are hoping to find people who are committed to the development of student's learning and who genuinely want to help nurture an encouraging and supportive learning environment. Applicants MUST have experience with in SEN.
The hours of work are typically 8.30AM - 4PM, five days a week.
To apply for this role you MUST:
* Have a Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 MINIMUM) OR Equivalent experience of 6 months working with children who have SEN.
* Good understanding of SEN
* Have knowledge of relevant strategies and resources
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Have a positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children with SEN
