Job description
**Level 2 Teaching Assistant - EYFS & Early Development Support**Aspire People are seeking a caring and motivated **Level 2 Teaching Assistant** to support within an **EYFS setting**, working with Nursery and Reception-aged children during their early stages of development.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in childcare, nurseries, or school settings who enjoys working in a **play-based, nurturing environment**.
**The Role:**
* Supporting children in EYFS through play-based learning activities
* Assisting with early phonics, communication, and numeracy development
* Supporting children with routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
* Working with small groups and supporting individual children where needed
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting outdoor learning and continuous provision
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or childcare/nursery experience
* Understanding of early years development
* Patient, warm, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with young children
* Team-focused and proactive attitude
