Job description
Aspire People are currently recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary school settings. We have both long-term and flexible opportunities available for experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children's education.This role offers the chance to work within supportive school environments where teaching assistants play a vital role in supporting pupil learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
* Working with small groups of pupils to support literacy and numeracy development
* Providing additional support for pupils who may need extra guidance
* Assisting with classroom preparation and learning activities
* Promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
* Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
* Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Has experience supporting children in an educational setting
* Is enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting pupils
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Is adaptable and able to work across different classroom environments
