Job description
Primary School | Salford | Full-Time | Aspire PeopleAspire People is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a mainstream primary school setting.
This role will involve supporting pupils with SEND, including learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and social or emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
Helping pupils access the curriculum through differentiated support
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement
Supporting inclusion within the classroom
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has a Level 2 TA qualification
Has experience supporting children with SEND (school-based preferred)
Is calm, empathetic, and adaptable
Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
