Job description
Aspire People is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a well-resourced primary school in Salford (M6). The school is known for its inclusive ethos and strong pastoral support.This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships with pupils and supporting their individual learning journeys.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities
* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
* Helping pupils access the curriculum in a supportive and encouraging way
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Supporting daily routines and transitions
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Has experience supporting children with additional needs
* Is calm, patient, and adaptable
* Has strong communication skills
* Understands the importance of safeguarding and inclusion
