Job description
Aspire People are working with a welcoming primary school looking for a dedicated **Level 2 Teaching Assistant** to support children in **EYFS and KS1**. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the early development of pupils by supporting learning, behaviour, and social development.**Key Responsibilities:**
* Supporting pupils individually and in small groups during lessons
* Assisting with classroom activities, including literacy, numeracy, and creative tasks
* Helping to manage behaviour and encourage positive learning attitudes
* Supporting day-to-day routines, including lunch, break times, and personal care if required
* Observing and recording pupil progress to inform teachers and SENCO
* Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Recent experience working in a primary school environment
* Patience, reliability, and a positive, proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Understanding of safeguarding and child development
