About the Role:
Aspire People, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Milton Keynes.
We have immediate openings for:
2x Secondary LSAs to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
1x Primary LSA to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for compassionate and motivated individuals to make a significant impact on the lives of SEN students. For the right candidates, these positions could become permanent roles starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support to students with ASC or SEMH needs.
Assisting in the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs).
Supporting classroom activities and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Helping students with daily tasks and promoting independence.
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor progress and provide feedback.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASC or SEMH needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting SEN students.
Relevant qualifications or training in special education (preferred but not essential).
