Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide Tailored Support to students with diverse SEND, helping them thrive in the classroom.
- Boost Confidence by supporting students' emotional, social, and personal development.
- Implement behavioural strategies to encourage positive learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Help students with personal care needs with dignity and respect.
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment where students feel valued and confident to learn.
What We're Looking For:
- We're looking for passionate, empathetic individuals who want to make a positive difference. If you have the following qualities, you might be the perfect fit:
- Experience in SEND education or a similar role (preferred but not essential).
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Health and Social Care, or related fields (desirable).
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine desire to help students grow and achieve their best.
