Job description
Are you looking for a long-term position as a Learning Mentor in a Dudley based School?This school is keen to ensure that all our children are given all the educational opportunities to enable them to reach the maximum of their potential.
They are seeking people that have the relevant experience and a passion to make a positive change to the student's education and life. This position would be good for someone with a background in the education sector.
As a Learning Mentor, you will be working alongside the class teacher and other TA's supporting pupils with everyday school life often supporting children on a one to one and small groups basis independently. You will be a source of support for pupils who are experiencing difficulties in learning due to social, emotional, or behavioural problems or other issues and will ensure they are motivated, happy, and engaged.
The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with additional needs. You will be empathetic and nurturing.
