KS2 TeacherLocation: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary/Permanent
Aspire People, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a committed and experienced KS2 Teacher to join a specialist school in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This school is dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), Visual Impairment (VI), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Physical Disabilities (PD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each pupil.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated to achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS2, ideally within a specialist or SEN setting.
* A thorough understanding of the challenges and strategies associated with teaching pupils with various needs.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
