KS2 Learning Support AssistantLocation: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary/Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Aspire People are seeking a KS2 Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This school supports pupils with needs such as SLCN, ASD, SEMH, PD, MLD, and SLD.
Role Overview:
* Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to KS2 pupils.
* Assist in delivering engaging lessons adapted to individual needs.
* Help implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Collaborate with teachers and specialists to create a positive learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant qualifications are a plus but not essential.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
