Job description
Aspire People are pleased to be working with an Ofsted rated 'GOOD' primary school in Rochdale. The school are currently recruiting for a Key Stage One Teacher for Year 1 for maternity cover starting from September 2024 on a full-time basis until Easter 2025. The role is full time Monday to Friday.The school's teachers and support staff possess excellent subject knowledge and have a detailed understanding of student's abilities. They work very effectively together to plan learning that consistently challenges all pupils from their different starting points. The curriculum is designed to ignite motivation and inspiration, promoting a love for learning and collective success.
The ideal KS1 Teacher for this Year 1 Class Teacher position will need:
* Qualified Primary Teacher (UK QTS) ECT's welcome to apply
* Experience in teaching within Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Passionate about providing high quality teaching and learning
* Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness
* Ability to provide a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.
