Job description
I am looking for a PPA teacher to commence in April - 3 dpw at a school in North Birmingham. The successful teacher will have experience across both Key Stage 1 and 2 as covering a number of year groups will be required. This 2 form entry high achieving school require a qualified teacher with a strong knowledge of the curriculum. The teacher will need to think on their feet and have the ability to pick up planning, run with it and differentiate when required.The successful teacher may be required to change classes as and when needed to fit around the needs of the school so flexibility is key to this role.
Planning will be set in advance, however the school require a candidate who has that 'go above and beyond' attitude.
I have been working with a 2 form entry school in Sutton Coldfield for the past 10 years. This school is ran by and excellent Head teacher who is supportive and approachable and part of a successful academy trust.
The school itself has a low turnover of staff, it has been rated good by OfSTED and staff work together to do the best for the children in their care. The school are constantly investing in the staff in their care and the suitable candidate will regularly have the opportunity to attend up to date course to boost curriculum knowledge and training in new initiatives.
Candidates will be required to have the following:
-Experience across Key Stage 1/2
-Relevant teaching qualification
-Flexibility on available days
-Strong classroom management skills
-A practical and engaging approach to teaching
