Job description
Following the pandemic and the subsequent gaps in learning, I am working with a school in Kingstanding to find a booster/catch up teacher for 3 dpw commencing in April.The successful teacher will have experience in identifying gaps in learning and implementing effective interventions. The teacher will be working with a variety of groups from different years groups across KS1 on a daily basis over a 12 week period. There may be a small element of planning dependant on the needs of the children but in most cases it will be available.
The school are looking for an experienced teacher who ideally has provided intervention/booster support previously.
The successful candidate must have...
-Experience in Key Stage 1
-Be a fully qualified primary teacher
-Have recent relevant experience in a primary school in KS1
-Strong classroom management skills
-A practical and engaging approach to teaching
