Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (KS1)Location: Central London
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
Role Overview:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to a specific child in the KS1 cohort with additional learning needs. Your role will involve working closely with the class teacher to support the child's academic and social development, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively and participate fully in school life.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide one-on-one support to a child with special educational needs in a KS1 class.
*Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised learning programs.
*Help the child with tasks in class, ensuring they are engaged and motivated.
*Promote positive behavior and help develop social and communication skills.
*Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other support staff to monitor progress.
*Maintain accurate records of the child's progress and well-being.
*Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
*Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably in KS1 or with children who have special educational needs.
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*A good understanding of child development and the ability to adapt to individual learning styles.
*A positive and proactive approach to challenges.
*A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
