Job description
KS3 SEND TEACHER - SEMH TEACHERWe are looking for a talented SEMH Teacher for one of our SEND schools in Peterborough. This position is available full-time and starts immediately.
The school are looking for a teacher to contribute to and demonstrate a commitment to continuously improve the delivery and quality of service to pupils, parents/carers, partner agencies and colleagues.
We are looking for a candidate with:
*knowledge of the relevant legislation and guidance with regard to education, safeguarding/child protection, SEND and inclusion of pupils with SEMH
*knowledge of KS3 curriculum
*understanding of the principles of effective learning for pupils with SEMH and the ability to promote a culture of learning throughout the school
*a passion to make a difference and raise achievement for all
* an ability to uphold all aspects of safeguarding
The school aims to deliver SMSC opportunities through a personalised and purposeful approach to ensure that pupils have an appropriate and meaningful learning experience.
