Job description
KS2 Teaching Assistant - Shrewsbury - September StartWe are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Shrewsbury from September.
This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across KS2 within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
The Role:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning
Providing additional support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
Requirements:
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
However, we will also consider candidates without formal qualifications who have significant, relevant classroom experience
Experience supporting children with SEN is highly beneficial
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting learning
