We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Shropshire. This position is available from September, offering an excellent platform for you to showcase your teaching skills and contribute to the development of enthusiastic students.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring that all students' needs are catered to.
* Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that promotes academic growth, personal development, and social skills.
* Assess students' progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective strategies to support individual learning needs.
* Foster a love for learning, encouraging active participation, critical thinking, and creativity among students.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and nurturing educational experience.
* Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour, and contribute to the overall school assessment procedures.
* Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification (ECT)
* Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, preferably in a UK school setting.
* Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and current teaching methodologies.
* Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and emotional development of all students.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Dedication to ongoing professional development and a passion for enhancing teaching and learning practices.
