Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across a range of subjects in Key Stage 2.
Provide a positive and motivating classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
Assess and track pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted support.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, respectful environment for all students.
Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and good practice to ensure consistent teaching across the school.
Communicate regularly with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and development.
Contribute to the school's wider community through extracurricular activities, trips, and events where appropriate.
Key Requirements:
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly in Years 3-6, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, with the ability to differentiate lessons for a range of abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A creative and proactive approach to teaching, with a commitment to making learning engaging and inclusive.
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and supporting students.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
