About the Role:
Aspire People are excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Telford. This is a full-time, long-term position, providing you with the opportunity to support and inspire children in their early years of education (Years 1 & 2). You will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for learning, encouraging the social, emotional, and academic development of your pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons for children in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2).
Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages the development of key skills, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Assess pupil progress regularly and use this data to inform future planning and provide appropriate support.
Create engaging, hands-on activities to support both academic learning and social-emotional development.
Manage classroom behavior in a positive and inclusive manner, ensuring all pupils feel safe and respected.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to the children's development.
Communicate with parents and carers regularly to keep them informed of their child's progress.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and trips to further enrich the students' learning experience.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly in Years 1 & 2, is preferred.
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and the ability to differentiate lessons for different learning abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A creative and patient approach to teaching, with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
