Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: £110-£130 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Term time only
Are you a qualified HLTA looking for a new challenge in a rewarding SEN environment? A fantastic SEN school in Milton Keynes is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils with diverse SEN needs, while working closely with teaching staff and leading small group sessions.
This role is ideal for HLTAs who:
* Have a solid background working with children or young people with SEN
* Are confident leading groups and delivering planned lessons
* Can adapt quickly and respond calmly to a variety of needs and behaviours
* Are committed to helping every pupil reach their potential
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and deliver tailored learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
* Lead small group interventions and assist in managing classroom behaviour
* Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt resources and learning plans
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
Key Requirements:
* Must hold a recognised HLTA qualification
* Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs
* Strong understanding of a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A proactive and resilient mindset
