Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a new challenge
I am currently recruiting for a large special school based in Leicester that are seeking to appoint two new HLTAs to join their team. The positions are on a part time basis with a view to go permanent for the right people. The school are seeking HLTAs with previous experience of working in Primary Schools.
The role is TBC.
As a HLTA you will be working alongside the class teacher and supporting pupils with everyday school life. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy and engaged. I recently placed a HLTA into a school and she said
"The teacher was so supportive, she sat me down and went through how she wanted to work and what she was looking from me, its great to have a fantastic relationship with the teacher"
The school is a very large school which caters for children with a wide range of disabilities including ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD and global delay. The school caters for pupils aged 2-25.
The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEN. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.
