We are currently working with a wonderful primary school in Telford that is looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 TA/HLTA to join their team. The Role:
Aspire People is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant/Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start ASAP in a long-term role. In this position, you will support across all Key Stage 2 classes, working with small groups, 1:1 support, and delivering lessons as required. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of classes and age groups, offering both teaching and TA support within a dynamic and friendly school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide teaching support across all Key Stage 2 classes, assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
Deliver small group interventions, both academically and socially, to support individual student progress.
Work with students on a 1:1 basis to address specific learning needs.
Take on HLTA responsibilities when required, including planning and delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
Support the classroom teacher with behaviour management and maintaining high standards of behaviour.
Promote positive learning and build students' confidence and independence.
Requirements:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or in a similar educational support role.
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Ability to work with children of varying abilities and support their individual learning needs.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work well within a team.
A passion for education and supporting children in their development.
