Are you a passionate History Teacher looking for flexible supply work with both short-term and long-term options? Aspire People is recruiting a dedicated History Supply Teachers to join our secondary schools in Manchester.
The Role:
As a History Supply Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Whether you're looking for a short-term assignment or a longer-term position, you will:
* Plan and deliver creative History lessons that inspire and engage students, in line with the national curriculum.
* Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity and differentiation.
* Manage classroom behaviour to create a positive and focused learning environment.
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to support development.
* Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain continuity in the curriculum and student progress.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has previous experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 level in a UK secondary school.
* Possesses strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to building student relationships.
* Is passionate about History and able to inspire students to engage with the subject.
* Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).
