High Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) - Supply RolesPrimary & Secondary Schools | Manchester
Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced High Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our bank of supply staff. Due to high demand, we have opportunities for daily supply, short-term and long-term roles across primary and secondary schools throughout Manchester.
This role is also a great option for ECTs / Newly Qualified Teachers who are looking to gain further classroom experience, confidence covering lessons, and exposure to a variety of school settings.
The Role:
* Cover whole classes during teacher absence, including PPA cover
* Deliver pre-planned lessons confidently across primary or secondary settings
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
* Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups and routines
* Support pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification OR a UK Bachelor's degree
* Recent experience working within schools, with evidence of covering lessons or whole classes
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Reliable, professional and adaptable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
* Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years
