Job description
Are you a Personal Assistant based in Derbyshire looking for a new venture?Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly professional Personal Assistant to provide outstanding support to the Headteacher of this outstanding School.
The position is a key one for the school and the successful candidate will join the senior administration team working closely with the School Business Manager and key members of the School. The successful candidate will have suitable experience, preferably school experience.
The role includes an extensive range of responsibilities that will require a broad set of skills, enthusiasm and resilience. Applicants must have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. They must be personable, approachable, responsive and accommodating and be able to work well with frequent disruptions.
Interested candidates will need to work well as part of a team and must be able to work autonomously. Challenges and opportunities will appear daily, so applicants must be able to think on their feet, whilst following strict procedures and tight timescales; all within a highly confidential environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, resilience and empathy and be able to work effectively under pressure. A sound administrative background is essential; as is an excellent working knowledge and application of various IT packages.
The successful applicants should have:
* The ability to organise their own workload and that of others to meet conflicting deadlines within fixed time scales
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work and influence at all levels
* An organised approach to work in relation to professional standards and competencies
You will be supported by me, Georgina Longhorne. I am Aspire People's Office & Technical consultant for the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas.
