Head of Maths Teacher - SeptemberAspire People are proud to be working in a long-term partnership with a large Multi-Academy Trust in Manchester, supporting their recruitment for a passionate and experienced Head of Maths to join their school as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school and Maths team that values creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
Head of Maths - The Role:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 & KS4 students
* Take full responsibility for planning, marking, and assessment
* Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
* Inspire students to develop a love of learning and achieve their best
* Work collaboratively with staff across a well-led and welcoming department
* Manage a team of Maths Teachers
Head of Maths - Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Maths - ideally been head of maths or looking for a step up
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Resilient, dedicated, and adaptable approach to teaching
* DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for a new one)
* References covering the last 2 years
