The school I am recruiting for are looking to find a meticulous head of humanities who can support students and manage what is already a strong department. This full-time role of 5 days a week provides a good work/life balance and the opportunity to work with a team that has lots of dedication. This role requires the ability to teach any secondary school student. The role starts in September and is critical to the school and its reputation. They are looking for someone who Is highly committed as they could possibly move on to a permanent member of staff after the first twelve weeks.

This role requires someone with the following:
*5 A*- Cs at GCSE including English and Maths.
*Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
*Experience of providing pastoral support within an education setting.
*The ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils and other adults.
*The ability to speak in front of large groups of pupils and small groups of staff.
*A confident understanding of the humanities curriculum.
*Provide progressive reports.
*Attend department meetings.
