Job description
Graduate Academic Tutors - Maths, English & Science (GCSE)Are you a graduate with tutoring experience looking to support secondary students in Maths, English, or Science at GCSE level? Aspire People are seeking Graduate Academic Tutors to provide 1:1 and small group interventions for students who need extra support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on experience in a school setting. Long-term opportunities are available, with potential progression into Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor roles.
The Role:
* Position: Graduate Academic Tutor (Maths, English & Science)
* Location: Secondary schools across the region
* Work Type: Part-time, long-term
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience
* Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
* A strong academic background with a relevant degree
* Tutoring experience and understanding of the UK GCSE curriculum
* Ability to simplify complex concepts and support underachieving students
* Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
* DBS on the update service
* Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years
