Job description
Are you an enthusiastic teacher with experience in a secondary school, teaching Geography?Aspire People are recruiting for a secondary school in Rawtenstall who are seeking an experience Geography Teacher. A successful candidate will require an immediate start, running until February half term. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is qualified teaching KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 being advantageous).
The school we are recruiting for is based in Rawtenstall and is easily accessible via public transport. They are looking for an individual who will share in their vision and ethos of celebrating diversity, supporting character development as well as academic performance and inspiring the young minds of today.

To be consider for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:
- UK QTS
- Relevant teaching experience to KS3 and KS4 level (KS5 would be advantageous)
- Have undertaken or willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check
- Have excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage a classroom
- Have a flexible and positive approach to an environment where 2 days are never the same
All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.
