Job description
Are you an enthusiastic Geography teacher specialist looking for a new challenge in Birmingham?We are recruiting for qualified Geography specialist who is confident in the classroom. The full-time job is starting as soon as possible and requires someone with the ability to teach key stage 3 and key stage 4 students. The role is due to finish at the end of the academic year in 2023, but this school has requested many previous teachers to return. The school is part of a close community and trust which is striving to be one of the top schools in central Birmingham.
As an agency we have been working closely with this school for over 6 years and we have an excellent relationship with them. The most recent member of staff who left the school told us "The SLT are amazing! Senior staff are placed in the hallways during lessons if there are to be any immediate problems in the classroom. I definitely enjoyed my time there and it has boosted my career so much." The school have clear visions and have great facilities.
This full-time geography teaching role will have expectations of whoever is taken on. The following is expected:
*A confident understand of this Geography curriculum
*Phenomenal communication skills
*Assess, mark and plan lessons
*Provide progressive reports
*Attend department meetings
