Job description
Are you an enthusiastic Geography teacher specialist looking for a new challenge in Great Barr?The school I am recruiting for are looking to find a diligent Geography specialist who has a drive for teaching and is keen to help students to success. This full-time role of 5 days a week provides an organised and structured pathway along with being part of an excellent team. This role requires the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 students and anything beyond that would be beneficial. The job is starting as soon as possible and finished at the end of this academic year. But from my experience, they may be keen for you to return as you will be an established member of staff at that point. This is a great opportunity with many benefits along the way. As an agency we have worked with this school for many years and the trust for coming up to 10 years which is portrayed with the relationship we have with them. Across the years we have placed many teachers, Teaching assistants and other members of staff into this school all of which provide with positive feedback. A previous teacher from the school said "The school is an asset to its community with fantastic facilities. Staff are well looked after and are provided support when needed. The time I was there, I saw that students were making a change with their attitude for education and I'm glad to know I contributed to that." The school prioritises looking after both permanent and temporary staff and having mutual respect as a community. This full-time science teaching role will have expectations of whoever is taken on. The following is expected:
*A confident understand of this Geography curriculum
*Phenomenal communication skills
*Assess, mark and plan lessons
*Provide progressive reports
*Attend department meetings
