We are seeking an experienced Geography Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Telford starting at the end of February. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Geography specialist to take on a long-term, full-time role, where you will not only teach Geography but also be involved in general cover duties across the school.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking to make a long-term commitment, offering stability and an opportunity to work with a supportive team. As part of your duties, you will teach engaging Geography lessons, manage student progress, and help create a positive learning environment. Additionally, you will provide cover across other subjects as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons to secondary students.
Provide general cover in other subjects when necessary.
Assess and monitor student progress, offering feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching.
Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies.
Skills & Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong knowledge and passion for Geography.
Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
Ability to manage diverse classroom settings and provide cover as required.
Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching across subjects.
