Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next role?
We are working with a 'Good' primary school in Kings Heath who are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on children's learning in a supportive and thriving school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide targeted support to students on a one-to-one or small group basis.
* Help maintain an orderly and positive classroom environment.
* Support children in their academic and social development.
* Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth classroom operation.
* Assist in the monitoring and recording of pupil progress.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a school environment, ideally in a teaching assistant role.
* A current DBS on the Update Service or the ability to obtain one.
* Able to provide references from previous employers or educational settings.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
* Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
* A positive attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
