Job description
GCSE Interventions Tutor - Maths, English & Science (Manchester, Part-Time, Short-Term)Are you passionate about education and eager to help students succeed in their GCSEs? Aspire People are looking for dedicated GCSE Interventions Tutors to support secondary school students across Manchester in Maths, English, and Science.
The Role:
* Provide small group and 1:1 tuition to help students bridge gaps in their learning.
* Work through past papers and mock exams, helping students understand and break down exam questions.
* Simplify complex topics to improve student confidence and performance.
* Support students onsite in secondary schools, guiding them toward exam success.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous tutoring experience (school-based or private).
* A UK degree in a relevant subject (Maths, English, or Science).
* Aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience before teacher training.
* Strong understanding of GCSE exam techniques and how to support students effectively.
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the update service.
* Ability to provide references covering the last two years.
