Job descriptionI am working with a Alternative Provision in Nottinghamshire to recruit a gardening and landscaping tutor.
They are looking for someone with a background in landscaping, gardening and outdoor construction. Teaching qualifications or experience would be an advantage however they are looking for the right person who can engage, motivate and get the best of their learners. Full training can be provided in the right circumstances.
The behaviour can be difficult, so are looking for candidates who have strong personalities, be able to work through issues the pupils display and be able to stand up to the physical demands of the work. This is a full time long term supply role that could, for the right person, become a permanent job with the school.
As a Tutor at this school you would be treated as one of the team and they would expect the following:
*Be responsible for behaviour
*Plan lessons as required
*Any marking to be completed
*Be able to build positive relationships
*Follow the policies of the school including behaviour
*Work collaboratively with other members of staff
