Job Opportunity: Full-Time SEND Nurture Classroom Support - Mainstream Primary School, RochdaleStart Date: February 23rd 2026
End Date: July
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Aspire People are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join a mainstream primary school in Rochdale as a full-time support staff member in their SEND Nurture Classroom. This position will start on February 23rd and run through until July.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the Nurture Classroom setting.
Work alongside class teachers and SENCo to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Foster emotional, social, and academic development for children with a range of SEND, including trauma-informed and child-led practices.
Support students with behavioural challenges, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working in SEND or within a Nurture Classroom setting is desirable.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed and child-centred practices.
Passionate about supporting children with a variety of needs and behaviours.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
