Position: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher (Full-time)Location: Bootle, Sefton
Start Date: ASAP - February Half Term (minimum)
Salary: £140 - £190 per day - Pay to scale after 12 weeks (salary dependent on experience)
Aspire People are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Bootle, Sefton, who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive school community that prides itself on providing high-quality early education and care. The role will continue until at least February half term, with the potential for extension beyond this date.
The Role:
- Teaching within a Reception or Nursery class, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Planning and delivering play-based, child-centred lessons aligned with the Early Years Framework.
- Supporting the individual needs of all children to ensure progress and inclusion.
- Working collaboratively with support staff and the SENDCo to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.
- Promoting children's social, emotional, and language development through creative and hands-on learning experiences.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child's development and wellbeing.
- Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records in line with school and EYFS expectations.
What We're Looking For:
- A passionate EYFS Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years' teaching experience within an Early Years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development.
- A creative, nurturing, and flexible teaching approach.
- Experience supporting children with SEND and diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with staff and families.
- The ability to provide two professional references and hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check.
