Aspire People is seeking a passionate and innovative Food Technology Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in North West London. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, nurturing practical skills, creativity, and a lifelong love of cooking, nutrition, and food science.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Teach practical and theoretical aspects of food preparation, nutrition, and culinary techniques.
* Encourage students to develop technical, creative, and problem-solving skills.
* Support students with coursework, practical assessments, and exam preparation.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs, school catering projects, and competitions.
Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field.
* Experience teaching Food Technology or similar subjects at KS3 & KS4.
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
* Passion for practical learning, creativity, and student engagement.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
