EYFS Intervention Teaching Assistant - 5 Days per WeekLocation: B12
Start Date: After May Half Term 2026
Contract: Temporary (until July 2026, with potential extension to September 2026)

We are seeking a nurturing and reliable EYFS Intervention Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children within an Early Years setting at a welcoming primary school in B12.
This role will involve working 5 days per week, supporting 2-3 children in a small group, delivering targeted support to help develop their early learning, communication and social skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children's development and engagement in learning.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting 2-3 children within a small group intervention
* Delivering targeted EYFS learning activities and interventions
* Supporting communication, language and early development
* Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
* Working collaboratively with the class teacher and EYFS staff
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working with EYFS or nursery-aged children
* Be patient, caring and able to build strong relationships with young children
* Be confident supporting learning through play and structured activities
* Be reliable and able to commit to 5 days per week
