About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting young children as they begin their learning journey? We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our caring and dynamic team in Warwick. You will work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team, contributing to an inclusive, engaging environment where every child can reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, hands-on lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Support children on an individual basis or in small groups, helping them engage with their learning and progress at their own pace.
Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages children to develop social and emotional skills.
Observe children's development, keeping records of their progress and supporting their individual learning needs.
Assist with daily routines, including lunch breaks, outdoor play, and helping children with personal care when needed.
Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members to ensure every child's needs are met.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children, particularly within an EYFS setting, is preferred but not essential.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and how to apply it in practice.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with children, parents, and colleagues.
A flexible and creative approach to working with children of different abilities and backgrounds.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education (or equivalent) is desirable but not a requirement.
