Job description
Aspire People are looking for a committed Experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to support learning and classroom activities in a primary school. This role is perfect for someone who has hands-on experience working with children in schools, youth work, or child support roles but may not hold formal teaching qualifications.The Role:
* Assisting teachers in classroom management and learning activities
* Supporting individual pupils and small groups to achieve learning goals
* Helping pupils develop social skills, confidence, and independence
* Supporting classroom routines, including lunchtime and break supervision
* Contributing to the development of individual learning plans
* Monitoring pupil progress and reporting to the teacher
The Ideal Candidate:
* Recent experience working with primary-aged children, either in schools, youth clubs, or childcare settings
* Patient, adaptable, and approachable
* Strong communication and team-working skills
* Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
* Willingness to undertake relevant training and CPD
