Exciting Opportunity for a Maths Teacher in Aylesbury!Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Aylesbury
Rate: £120 - £175 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners with Autism Condition/Autism Spectrum Disorder who find mainstream settings challenging. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Maths and be able to adapt lessons to suit the needs of students with SEMH.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to SEMH learners
* Differentiate teaching strategies to support a range of abilities and learning styles
* Implement effective behaviour management techniques to create a positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff and SEN specialists to enhance student progress
* Build strong relationships with students to foster engagement and confidence in Maths
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (essential)
* Experience teaching Maths, ideally to SEMH learners, alternatively, strong behaviour management experience will be considered
* A patient, calm, and adaptable approach to teaching
* A commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
