Job description
Full-time English Literature and Language Teacher required.Are you passionate about teaching English to secondary aged students?
The position is full time. The role is long-term, covering maternity leave for the full academic year, teaching KS3 and KS4.
The school is based in Peterborough and the school pride themselves on maintaining high levels of learning and promote British Values. The successful candidate would be expected to deliver high quality lessons whilst successfully engaging students. Maintaining a healthy learning environment and being able to motivate students is an essential part of this position.

As a full time English teacher the school will expect the following:
« Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
« Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
« Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & department meetings.
