Job descriptionAre you an outstanding Teacher who specialises in English Language and Literature?
The school I am recruiting for is Leicester based and they are looking for a passionate, caring teacher to join their friendly team of staff. The role will be to teach KS3 and KS4 and the ideal candidate must be willing to seeking new challenges as the school needs someone who's willing to help them move forward and help strive the pupils in the school to get the good grades.
This school believes strongly in being hard working, creating a vibrant and safe environment for the pupils to grow and learn and delivering high standard and effective English lessons.
You will bring your excellent knowledge gained through your English degree and PGCE to life and bringing your past experience and skills in teaching in, through the school gates and into the classroom to support the students to perform to the best of their ability.
The school will expect the following:
« Able to teach English Language and Literature to KS4 and KS4 confidently.
« Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
« Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
« Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & department meetings.
